Hello,
We are running a Windows 7 SP1 32Bit VDI environment on the following:
ESXi 5.0.0
vCenter Server 5.0.0
vSphere Client 5.00
View Horizon 5.1.0
View Compose 3.0.0
vShield Manager 5.02
VMware Tools 8.6.15 build 2495133
The Windows 7 image has 2 drives of interest:
C:\ (Windows System files, Program Files, Windows, etc)
D:\ (User Profile)
The issue is the C drive is a 30GB Thin Provision disk in total, with about 6GB of free space.
I have the system restore turned on but its only using about 3% of disk space (900MB).
The only thing that gets installed are the Windows updates on patch Tuesday.
The programs we use in are static, they don't really change.
So no new installs of any kind and the users don't have access to install any applications from the internet.
I regularly run the disk cleanup for the C drive, but find that not much space is reclaimed.
I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to prevent growth on the C drive?
Anything else that I can delete or trim down so that the C drive doesn't grow?
Or is my only option to just increase the 30GB disk which I really don't want to do.
Thanks for your help
