How can I use Tom Tom navigator in a Windows 7 installed in an VMware Workstation 10.0.3 in a Linux Centos 7 (kernel 3.10.0-327.36.3.el7.x86_64) host ?

When I connect TomTom usb I have, from Vmware, this message:

The specified device is claimed by another driver (cdc_ether) on the host operating system. The device might be in use. To continue, the device will first be disconnected from its current driver.

How can I disconnect Usb device from its current driver in order to connect it only inside vmware, so that I can use it with windows ?

giving the command: lsusb the response is:

Bus 004 Device 002: ID 1390:5454 TOMTOM B.V. Blue & Me 2

I have put cdc_ether in modprobe blacklist, but without success.

The /var/log/messages reports:
