Recently setup an ESXi 6.5 host to test with. Its using the trial still, so I don't know if that will make any difference?
Anyway, I'm using a custom written c# program that imports an ovf, then powersOn the imported VM, then Auths in the VMs Guest correctly (this is working for both interactive sessions and non-interactive).
However, even though we seem to be calling "initiateTransferToGuest" correctly as nothing untoward is returned / no exceptions happen during a debugging session,
no file is appearing on the Guest.
Using the WebClient, and checking events under the monitor tab, shows that we initiated the filetransfer... but again no error is shown..
I don't even know where to begin troubleshooting this one.. So my question is, anyone able to shed some light or offer a pointer in the right direction?
